Simplicity
Simplicity is an office interior design covering 410 square meters in Taichung, Taiwan. The scheme follows a modern style, with a calm grey tone matched with pure white. Closed partitions are removed, so sunlight and outdoor greenery reach the open plan. Glass and iron elements give the interior a light and transparent effect, while LED strips divide the space through light. A spiral staircase connects the upper and lower offices. The staircase is made of steel panels and curved glass and is placed near the balcony to face the landscape.
Simplicity Office by Li Min Chen was highlighted as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Simplicity Office earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
