Tirpse
Tirpse is a restaurant and bar interior located inside a retail development in Hong Kong. The space of 3200 square feet is planned around the story of a visit to a chef's private dining hut. Five key elements shape the interior: a forest and its surroundings, the chef's wolf companion, the private hut, a tale told through food and a treasure chest. The treasure chest is a secluded seating area placed in a deep corner. Simple materials and details were selected to suit a three month construction period and a limited budget.
Tirpse Bar and Restaurant by Minus Workshop has been highlighted as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Tirpse Bar and Restaurant was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
