Modern Jiangnan
Modern Jiangnan Beer Music is a restaurant interior in Hangzhou. The design covers three floors and an outdoor area, with a total area of 1200 square meters. A stage and a three meter high LED screen are placed on the first floor. The second floor uses a stand-like layout, similar to a European opera house, so guests above can watch the performances below. Metallic tones from beer barrels and copper are combined with smoky gray granite on the walls, floors and tables. A luminous white beer bottle silhouette, 9.9 meters high, marks the entrance.
Modern Jiangnan Restaurant by Zhixue Wei has been identified as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Modern Jiangnan Restaurant won the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
