Youngor Store
Youngor Fashion Concept Store is a retail interior design covering 5000 square meters. The original building is a half sphere with a glass facade. The interior was fully removed and an umbrella-shaped core tube was built at the center. Random perforations in the umbrella surface allow natural light to enter and create a soft light and shadow effect. The core tube holds an elevator and connects the floors. Wide steps at the entrance serve for product display and for sitting. Metal mesh, plaited bamboo and terrazzo were used.
Youngor Store Showroom by Jeffrey Zee was highlighted as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Youngor Store Showroom earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
