Journey of Nature
Journey of Nature is a sales center completed in 2019 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The property covers 2426 square meters. The main space uses cultural references, while three model houses present contemporary, modern flat and neoclassical styles. Facilities include a meeting area with five tables, a coffee table area, two VIP rooms and a parent-child playground. A shallow water pond and grassland border a long hallway made of wood-plastic composite. The exterior layers stone balls, vermiculite, gray marble tiles, blackened steel and natural timber bark.
Journey of Nature Sales Center by Chao Yen Chen was identified as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Journey of Nature Sales Center earned the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2020. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that rewards excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
