Xiaomi Watch
Mi Watch Li Bai is the packaging designed for a smart watch. The box is made of paper and holds a paper pulp tray, so no plastic is used. A three-dimensional hologram is applied to the dial area of the package. Water ripples appear to flow when the box is viewed from different angles. Embossed printing and a special ink reproduce the look and texture of the dial and the strap. The watch rests on a raised part of the tray instead of a recess, so the watch appears to float. The package measures 295 by 79 by 49 millimeters.
Xiaomi Watch Smart Watch by Xiaomi was selected as an outstanding example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Xiaomi Watch Smart Watch received the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that rewards excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
