Mondrian and Home for Good Life
3D Mondrian is a show flat interior design located in Changsha, China, covering about 140 square meters. The design restructures the primary colors and geometric lines of Mondrian's abstract art and transforms these graphic elements into three-dimensional living space. Red, yellow and blue accents are set against a calm background of black and white to define each functional area. Flexible divisions balance shared and private areas for large families. Light, sound and scent are adjusted to create different scenes, and a QR code in each space offers further explanation.
Mondrian and Home for Good Life Show Flat by Percept Design has been recognized as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Mondrian and Home for Good Life Show Flat won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
