M-Town Office
M-Town Office is the lobby interior design of a modern high-rise office building in Shanghai, China. The project covers 15000 square meters and follows a square floor plan, with the elevator halls, restrooms and shafts placed at the center. The lobby ceiling is divided into three levels, forming continuous curves that resemble ribbons and gather diagonally into a boomerang shape. Curved lines on the floor and diagonal forms on the walls echo the ceiling. White and beige tones combine stone with stainless steel and aluminum plates.
M-Town Office Interior Design by Patrick Chen was identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. M-Town Office Interior Design received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
