Yorkshire Villa
Yorkshire Villa is a residential interior design for a four-story duplex lakefront villa in Chongqing. The mountainous terrain places the entrance on the second floor, which links to the third floor and serves as a shared living space for the family. The ground floor opens to an outdoor garden, and the basement level holds a room for entertainment. Walls between two adjoining villas were removed to connect the interiors. A skylight and a tall open void bring daylight into the bright reception room. Natural materials add texture and a sense of comfort.
Yorkshire Villa Residential House by Kot Ge was identified as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yorkshire Villa Residential House won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design accolade that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
