Wu
Wu is a gift packaging series designed for high-end tea vessels made of silver, brass and enamel. The boxes are produced in three sizes and combine dark green paper with pearl-finished accents in autumn colors, creating a calm and stable tone. Each box carries a tassel strung with a brass coin engraved on both sides with the phrases Wei Wu Zhi Zu and Long Happiness. Wei Wu Zhi Zu means that contented people are always happy. The box is opened by sliding the outer shell, which reveals the vessel and a printed card.
Wu gift packaging by 7654321 Studio has been highlighted as an outstanding representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Wu gift packaging was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that recognizes exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
