Time Corridor
Time Corridor is a residential apartment interior completed in March 2019 in Taiwan. The home covers about 130 ping in a building with a long, narrow layout, bulky beams and columns and poor air quality. A mirror ceiling visually expands the limited floor height, while decorative materials, balanced colors and visual transfer reduce the effect of the heavy structure. An energy recovery ventilation system was installed to bring in fresh air. Marble, quartz tiles, iron, engineered wood flooring and wallpaper complete the calm modern setting.
Time Corridor Residential Apartment by Ying Kai Chu has been featured as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Time Corridor Residential Apartment received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020.
