Anpin Xiaoyuan
Anpin Yuanshe Xiaoyuan is a residential interior design in the Qinhuai District of Nanjing, China. The project keeps the historical layout of streets and lanes and develops low-rise courtyard housing with yards and light wells. Grey tiles, white walls and wavy hip roofs follow the building tradition of southern Nanjing. The design joins the house with a garden that can be visited and lived in. Two related forms were developed for the site, one steady and one moderate and inclusive, both combining hard and soft elements.
Anpin Xiaoyuan Residential House by Kot Ge has been identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Anpin Xiaoyuan Residential House won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
