Smart Clean
Smart Clean is a portable device for cleaning draft beer lines in bars. The compact unit stands inside the bar, so an external cleaning service is not needed. The bartender connects water and power, switches the line input from the keg to Smart Clean, and starts the cycle from a mobile application. Four lines are cleaned at the same time. Each cleaning process is adjusted to the usage, beer type, cooling system and line length. The body is made of formed aluminium sheet metal, and the handle is covered with leather.
Smart Clean Beer Line Cleaning by Volkan Doğan has been selected as an innovative illustration of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Smart Clean Beer Line Cleaning earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Hospitality, Restaurant and Catering Products Design in 2021. The A' Hospitality, Restaurant and Catering Products Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which celebrates outstanding design of menu boards, beverage dispensers, buffet equipment, hotel furniture, tableware sets, catering trolleys, kitchen appliances, guest amenities and more.
