Celesta
Celesta is a handcrafted plate collection made for dining and hospitality service. Each piece is produced in fine stoneware and has a concave shape with a black exterior. The concave form supports the presentation of food. Every plate is glazed by hand using traditional methods, so each finish is slightly different. The collection joins established craft techniques with a modern appearance. The plates are supplied in inner boxes of six. The intent is to reflect a long craft heritage in everyday tableware.
Celesta Handcrafted Plate by Reyhan Tuncer was identified as an outstanding representation of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Celesta Handcrafted Plate received the Bronze A' Design Award in Hospitality, Restaurant and Catering Products Design in 2024. The A' Hospitality, Restaurant and Catering Products Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that celebrates exceptional design of menu boards, beverage dispensers, buffet equipment, hotel furniture, tableware sets, catering trolleys, kitchen appliances, guest amenities and more.
