Taoyuan Town
Taoyuan Town is a Chinese-style villa development in Hangzhou, China. Twenty households are arranged within a construction scale of 5,200 square meters. Gardens, streets and courtyards are linked to form a public space system inspired by classic Chinese gardens. Most residential units cover about 666 square meters, while corner units are larger. Natural materials are used widely, and classical details such as corridors, columns and arches are made of solid wood. Carved dry-hanging stone clads the entrance and the second-floor walls.
Taoyuan Town Chinese Style Villa by GTD has been selected as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Taoyuan Town Chinese Style Villa was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Construction and Real Estate Projects Design in 2021. The A' Construction and Real Estate Projects Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that celebrates superior design of residential complexes, commercial buildings, industrial properties, Mixed-Use developments, hospitality establishments, educational facilities, healthcare centers, infrastructure projects and more.
