Marjan
Marjan is a pedestrian bridge designed for the coast of Kish Island in the Persian Gulf. The form of the bridge is inspired by corals, which shaped the island over a very long time. The structure measures 360 meters in length, 215 meters in width and 37 meters in height, and includes a walking path of 680 meters. Cafes, a gym, a concert hall and a marina park are placed along the bridge wings. A floating restaurant and stage in the center can move and host concerts. Visitors can sit on the bridge and watch the sea, the horizon and the shows.
Marjan Beach Bridge by Saber Sajadi has been selected as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Marjan Beach Bridge earned the Iron A' Design Award in Construction and Real Estate Projects Design in 2021. The A' Construction and Real Estate Projects Design Award is a highly prestigious international design accolade which honors excellent design of residential complexes, commercial buildings, industrial properties, Mixed-Use developments, hospitality establishments, educational facilities, healthcare centers, infrastructure projects and more.
