Bengalas Walking Sticks

Bengalas

Bengalas is a collection of walking sticks made of red or white oak. Handles are offered in a C shape or a T shape. Walking sticks for men have a diameter of 25 mm, while walking sticks for women are slimmer, with a diameter of 22 mm. The length is made to order. The oak is FSC certified. All handles are reinforced with jacaranda paulista, a Brazilian native wood. The surfaces are finished with tung oil. The replaceable tips are made of aluminum and laminated rubber for a stable contact with the ground.

Bengalas Walking Sticks by Álvaro Wolmer was highlighted as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Bengalas Walking Sticks was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Limited Edition and Custom Design in 2022. The A' Limited Edition and Custom Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that recognizes outstanding design of limited edition products, bespoke watches, custom furniture, bespoke jewelry, personalized fashion collections, modified automobiles, made to order products and more.
