Capsule
Capsule is a modular lighting system designed for the home. The system combines one handheld lighting module with different base modules, so each configuration can suit productivity, entertainment or ambience. A pressure fit attachment holds the lighting module in place without tools. A rotating ring on the module controls the brightness, and the diffusers can be unlocked and exchanged to change the light effect. The main module is made of aluminium by CNC milling. Capsule can serve as a desk lamp, a flashlight or a ceiling lamp.
Capsule Lighting System by Sushant Vohra has been highlighted as an exceptional representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Capsule Lighting System was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2022. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which honors superior design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
