Gaenyeomsuda
Gaenyeomsuda is a mathematics textbook designed for teenage students. The name is a shortened form of a phrase meaning that concepts are everything in mathematics. The logo uses a speech balloon motif and a hand-drawn style, reflecting the abbreviation and customization found in teen culture. The aim is to make the study of mathematics feel like a chat with a friend, so students open the book without unease. The book measures 210 by 260 millimeters. All pages are matte laminated, and the logo and the illustrations are coated with transparent epoxy.
Gaenyeomsuda Textbook by Mirae-N Design Team was featured as a creative representation of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Gaenyeomsuda Textbook received the Bronze A' Design Award in Education, Teaching Aid and Training Content Design in 2023. The A' Education, Teaching Aid and Training Content Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade which rewards outstanding design of textbooks, E-Learning platforms, educational games, training manuals, instructional videos, interactive whiteboards, educational software, lesson plans and more.
