Doritos W and Y
Doritos W and Y is a limited edition food packaging design created to mark the final tour of the reggaeton duo Wisin and Yandel. The packaging forms part of a wider visual identity system offered for a limited time. The background carries the red, white and blue colors of the Puerto Rican flag. A stylized black and white photograph of the two performers is placed at the center, beside text promoting the La Ultima Mision world tour. The angular Doritos logo is shown prominently on the front of the pack.
Doritos W and Y Food Packaging by PepsiCo Design and Innovation was highlighted as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Doritos W and Y Food Packaging earned the Iron A' Design Award in Limited Edition and Custom Design in 2023. The A' Limited Edition and Custom Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which rewards outstanding design of limited edition products, bespoke watches, custom furniture, bespoke jewelry, personalized fashion collections, modified automobiles, made to order products and more.
