Popticals
Popticals is a collection of collapsible sunglasses designed for active use. The frames contain a patented micro rail system that lets the lenses slide parallel to each other, so the sunglasses fold into a compact size for storage. The lenses are made of NYDEF nylon and offer clarity, impact resistance and protection from ultraviolet light. The frames are made of Grilamid TR90 for flexibility and comfort. Stainless steel pins and a magnet hold the two halves together in a secure position during wear.
Popticals Sunglasses by Popticals was highlighted as an exceptional illustration of strategy design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Popticals Sunglasses earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Eyewear Design in 2024. The A' Eyewear Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that recognizes exceptional design of sunglasses, prescription glasses, reading glasses, safety glasses, sports goggles, swim goggles, fashion eyewear, contact lenses and more.
