Teos
Teos is an engineered quartz surface designed for kitchen countertops and cut-to-size surfacing applications. Teos is made of natural quartz granules and advanced polymers, compacted by vibratory pressing under vacuum, then cured in an oven and polished with diamond abrasives. The surface is nonporous, hygienic and resistant to scratches, chemicals and abrasion, and no annual sealing is needed. The vein pattern and the dual opaque and transparent base recall Bianco Arabescato marble, offering a durable alternative to a stone that is becoming rare.
Teos Surfacing Solution by Esra Arıcı has been featured as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Teos Surfacing Solution was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Building Materials and Construction Components Design in 2020. The A' Building Materials and Construction Components Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that recognizes outstanding design of bricks, beams, windows, doors, insulation materials, roofing materials, plumbing fixtures, electrical components and more.
