A wide opening allows the aroma to spread quickly. Drinking takes place in two stages. The shallow upper part holds the first portion and supports the sense of smell. The narrow middle section slows oxidation, so the wine in the deeper lower part keeps its taste. The glass measures 50 mm in width, 50 mm in depth and 140 mm in height.
