The careful selection of materials and expert craftsmanship recreate the natural texture and movement of a shrimp, with particular attention to details such as the eggs in the abdomen. The use of gradient dyed rayon thread captures the enchanting beauty of marine life.

Jupiter

Inside the Jupiter watch, steel spheres are rolling in hydraulically pressed channels, held in place by magnetic force. The wavelike dial is inset into the convex shaped crystal glass, which prevents the spheres from leaving their paths. A glass dome covering the top watch area transitions into the stainless steel casing seamlessly. With omission of a visible stem, watch hands or markings, there are no elements to distract from the time-telling spheres. Despite the absence of visible watch hands, a conventional quartz movement is being used to drive the planetary time indicator.

Mutualistic Symbiosis is a ring inspired by symbiotic crystals. The design combines 18k gold and 925 silver bands set with natural gemstones. The 18k gold keeps its raw texture without surface treatment, which contrasts with the polished protruding elements and the smooth inner ring. The 925 silver section is burnished through repeated acid washing, calcination and special treatment to reveal the natural brilliance of the metal. The ring measures 14.5 mm by 14.5 mm by 5 mm. The form expresses the idea that imperfections can become unique qualities.

Fairies is a pair of kinetic earrings inspired by the duality of day and night. Both figures have moving legs and individual faces. A 3D model was prototyped in wax and cast in gold, then finished by hand and polished. Lunar is Robert's project for timepiece company ZIIIRO. This watch creates a tie between the design and the nature of the object. If it wasn't a watch that naturally moves sunwise, it wouldn't be possible to read it. The edges of two semi-circles moving in clockwise direction show hours and minutes, they are both leveled at the same height which creates a flat surface. By the interlocking shapes, hands and watch face become one to create a constantly changing graphic.
